Last Request: Help Closing the College's Fiscal Year 2005 Records
Thank you for your help in closing the College's financial records for the year. By now we should have all check requests and expense reimbursements related to fiscal year 2005 (July 1, 2004 – June 30, 2005).

Department budget managers are requested to review year-to-date budget and actual activities from both AccountView and Jenzabar systems. AccountView provides all activity for the first six months. Jenzabar provides the second six months plus the lump sum for the first six months.

Please submit all requests for accounting adjustments to Tricia Benson or call her at x2422 if you need assistance. Kindly complete this process and send in adjustments as soon as possible. By Wednesday, July 13, final year-end financial information will be available in Jenzebar. If any last minute changes are required, please send an email to Tricia by Friday, July 15.

UPS Shipping at Olin
In order to make it easier to get an exact price for shipping a package through UPS, Campus Services is installing two digital scales in the Olin Center. One scale will be on the second floor in the faculty wing (near the copier and supplies) and the second will be in the same location on the third floor. These scales have a 125 pound limit, although UPS has a 100 pound limit. There is a larger scale in the mail room, which can also be utilized for weighing packages. This fall you will be able to ship via UPS directly from the mail room.

Hopefully this process will make it easier to get the correct pricing when shipping packages though UPS. If anyone would like to get access to our UPS system please contact Courtney Sampson.

Fall 2005 Bills Sent
The fall 2005 bills were sent to the permanent addresses of students on July 1. Payment is due August 1. Questions about the billing should be directed to Katherine O'Keefe at katherine.okeefe@olin.edu or 781-292-2346. Late payments are subject to a $150 fee.
